>> implement a label-free efficient optical biosensing method based on probing the photoluminescence of gold nanoparticles by fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) >> synthesis and characterization of multifunctional nanoparticles for biomedical application, such as detection and bioimaging >> implementation of new analysis and spectroscopic imaging methods based on time-resolved and steady-state confocal fluorescence microscopy and spectroscopy (MicoTime 200 system from PicoQuant coupled with a Ti:Sa femtosecond laser)
